Compliance Center

BuyerSignal is a marketplace for paid product research conversations — not procurement influence. These rules apply to every vendor and participant on the platform.

Allowed

• Structured product feedback and discovery sessions

• Messaging, workflow, and category research

• Persona and buyer-journey interviews with non-prospects

• Compensation as cash, charity donation, or professional development credit

Prohibited

• Payment in exchange for purchase, recommendation, or vendor selection

• Sharing confidential employer information, internal documents, or pricing

• Sessions tied to an active RFP, procurement evaluation, or buying committee

• Misrepresenting authority to buy or to introduce

• Participation by government, regulated healthcare, or financial-regulated employees without explicit policy clearance

Participant responsibility
You are responsible for following your employer's policies on outside engagements. If cash compensation is not allowed, select a charity or professional-development payout. Disclose any active vendor evaluation conflict before accepting a session.
Vendor responsibility
You agree not to use sessions to influence purchase decisions, request confidential information, or pursue participants in your active sales pipeline. Our AI guardrails scan campaign content and session notes for restricted language and require rewrites.
Audit trail and disputes
Every session has a structured record of feedback from both parties. Either party may raise a dispute; payment release is gated on dual confirmation. Admins review flagged sessions and high-risk campaigns.
